Altona Energy is a member of the peak resources industry body in South Australia – the South Australian Chamber of Mines and Energy (SACOME) and a regular sponsor of industry events.
Altona is a founder member of the Global Carbon Capture and Storage Institute (GCCSI), established by the Commonwealth Government to accelerate the commercial deployment of carbon capture and storage (CCS) projects to ensure their valuable contribution in reducing carbon dioxide emissions.
Altona is also a foundation member of the Australian Syngas Association Inc, a body established to promote understanding and development of the sector which produces Syngas, whether sourced from Underground Coal Gasification, Coal Seam Gas or conventional above ground Gasification and used as a feedstock to produce a range of value added product options.
