Our Mining and Rehabilitation Program (MARP) must stand public scrutiny, as well as approval from Primary Industries and Resources SA, and will be enforceable by law.
The initial rehabilitation proposals will form part of the FFS. If the AUEJV partners agree to move to the mine stage of development and production, a MARP will be produced to address this rehabilitation in greater detail.
Before any mining can begin, a monetary bond must be placed in a trust fund, overseen by the State Government, as a guarantee that rehabilitation will take place even if the operating company becomes insolvent.
